Come join us for a fun and creative time at Laura’s Play With Clay Classes!
For just $50 per person, you’ll get:
- 2.5 pounds of soft, low fire clay
- 2 hours of relaxing studio time
- Complimentary coffee, tea, and treats ☕🍪
After class, we’ll dry and bisque fire your pieces, ready for you to paint at your next visit (about a week later). 🎨

About the artist
I am a self taught artist who is passionate about creating fun, whimsical paintings with watercolour and black archival ink.
I also enjoy working with acrylics, mixed media, fabric and photography.
Nature is a constant inspiration to me and the majority of my pieces include wildflowers, field animals, bees, ladybugs and a lot of colour!
I also paint my images onto my hand built pottery, wheel thrown pottery and bisqueware. Each piece of greenware is fired in my kiln, hand painted, glazed and re-fired. Everything is food safe. Please hand wash, do not put in the dishwasher, microwave or oven.
Having a studio on the Sunshine Coast means I am constantly inspired by the ocean and nature surrounding me.

I had a wonderful experience doing ceramic painting with my friend! The mugs turned out more beautiful than I thought. The painting part was so therapeutic and so forgiving (which I really appreciated because I am definitely not an artist lol) Laura had some great cards to choose from which was truly special. Overall I had a wonderful time and would recommend and would gladly come back.

Did this sweet activity on our babymoon while visiting the Coast! So much fun and relaxing, very enjoyable rainy day activity. I was so pleased to find the lovely book plates for small children as I had searched the places where I thought it would be obvious to find them such as book stores, stationary stores, etc. but there were none as suitable as yours. Your drawings are very attractive.
